This handwoven runner comes from Karajeh, a traditional village in the Azerbaijani region of northwestern Persia, celebrated for its distinct geometric motifs and durable wool-on-cotton construction. Karajeh designs are traditionally produced in runner sizes, with larger rectangular pieces being rare.
